Diminium - Dissonant [2023]

Amidst the adversity of a war-torn environment and the echoes of conflict, the Ukrainian atmospheric metal project Diminium emerges with a dynamic debut album, "Dissonant", released on November 30th, 2023. The album showcases a unique fusion of atmospheric and groove/modern metal elements with pure anger. Diminium’s creative journey through the making of "Dissonant" is an inspiring story of resilience and determination. “After the ruskies invasion of Ukraine in 2022 and future blackouts caused by shelling, I felt like I was losing my mind sitting in darkness,” shared Dimi Rich, the band's frontman. “I picked up a guitar with my laptop and started to outpour all my anger and disgust about the situation around into music just to stay sane. I ended up with about 50 demos; I picked 10 and started to record them since January 2023.” He channeled his frustrations into a musical concoction of ambient/atmospheric stuff mixed with crushing riffs and wrathful vocals/lyrics: "This world is a big mess, filled with wars, violence and cataclysms. The power and greed seem to define relationships between individuals and nations. We live in a dissonant world."

The album features notable guest appearances from Martino Garattoni (Ne Obliviscaris), Xavier Dumont (Godspear) and Vitalii Popfalushi aka Exaltation (Monumental) among others. Diminium invites listeners to a sonic journey defined by emotional depth, musical complexity, and the relentless spirit created amidst adversity.

Looks like I was too busy to post something new here.

With all the recent events in my life and in the country I live in all my projects/bands are barely active today. There are some movements here and there, but overall it's so inconsistent, without any schedules or concrete plans. Everybody is busy with their own stuff and music is not the main priority for my bandmates now. So, I decided to run another project, where all the responsibility will be on me.

This project is #Diminium and the pilot single "HAVOC" is out now!

Majesty Of Revival - Pinnacle | New Album Release, MOR news

PINNACLE: THE NEW ALBUM IS OUT NOW!

It's been three years since the release of the fourth album #TIMELESS by Majesty Of Revival and following the cancellation of 「Smash The Kings」tour due to the Corona disaster. We decided to work in the studio on the new material during the whole C0VID period, focusing on strong melodies, heavy guitar riffs, versatile vocals and solid instrumental sections. Also, the bloody russian invasion of Ukraine delayed the release of the new album, which was planned to release in early 2022: but now it's time to free that bird from its cage!

The new album「PINNACLE」is about the experience of our thoughts, about casual situations that happen around us or with ourselves: problems that surround us daily like domestic violence, blind idolizing, struggles in front of big challenges, leadership, money issues and so on. On the musical side, it’s hard to define clear changes, because Majesty Of Revival always was about the experiment! 

The regular album consists of 13 cross-genre and progressive compositions, filled with subjective visual descriptions, and tactile audio figures. All this to make you not just listen, but also feel every song!

As usual, we did a bunch of outtakes/different versions of the songs during the recordings, so the complete recordings from #Pinnacle session featured 23 tracks! We come up with an idea to throw some of them into different digital platforms as bonus tracks - it means that:

- regular version available on Spotify/Apple Music/Deezer;

- bandcamp version includes 2 bonus tracks;

- youtube music version includes 2 bonus tracks;

- soundcloud version also includes 2 bonus tracks;

- USB version includes 1 bonus track;

- also, we planned a CD version that will include 3 bonus tracks

- website downloads will include 4 bonus tracks (will appear shortly)

 It's time to announce the next guest on the upcoming album - DAVID READMAN! 

He worked with so many great acts, like Pink Cream 69, Adagio, Tank, Voodoo Circle, Almanac among others. We were really inspired by his works with Adagio and Pink Cream 69! His singing on Adagio's albums is just phenomenal! So, it's unbelievable to have a chance to work with David!
